Club Competitive Division pools shall be re-lettered based on the results of pool play as follows:

  • The pool that contains the best-ranked 2nd place team based on USQ standard tiebreakers shall be labeled as Pool P.

  • Of the remaining two pools, the pool that contains the better-ranked 1st place team based on USQ standard tiebreakers shall be labeled as Pool Q.

  • The last remaining pool shall be labeled as Pool R.

Draw Details: The three qualifier champions were given pot priority and assigned Pot One. The remaining teams were grouped into pots of three per the USQ Standings. One team from each pot was drawn into each pool.

CLUB OPEN

Each team in Pool T will play a game against each team in their pool, for a total of four games, and each team in Pool U will play a game against each team in their pool, for a total of three games. Based on results during the pool play stage, the top three teams in each pool will qualify for the open division bracket. The teams that do not qualify for the bracket will enter the consolation stage.

Draw Details: The top six ranked teams in the USQ Standings were grouped into pots of two and drawn into one of the two pools. Of the remaining three teams, two were drawn into Pool T and one was drawn into Pool U.

COLLEGE DIVISION 1

Pool A and B are four-team round robins. Each team will play a game against each team in their pool, for a total of three games. Pool C and D are three-team round robins. Each team will play against each team in their pool and one crossover game against the team in the same row in the other pool. This will amount to a total of three games. Based on pool play results, eight teams will qualify for the D1 championship bracket, and six teams will qualify for the D1 secondary bracket. The brackets will be seeded by overall ranking at the end of day one. USQ tiebreakers can be viewed here.

Draw Details: The four teams in Pot 1 (top of each pool) were assigned pools based on their USQ ranking. The four teams in Pot 2 (second in each pool) were subdivided into two groups based on ranking: Pot 2A with the fifth- and sixth-ranked teams, and Pot 2B with the seventh- and eighth-ranked teams. Teams in Pot 2A were drawn into Pool A and B, and teams in Pot 2B were drawn into Pool C and D. The six teams in Pot 3 were drawn randomly into pools, with two teams from Pot 3 drawn into Pool A and B, and one team from Pot Three drawn into Pool C and D.

COLLEGE DIVISION 2

Pool E is a modified round robin. Each team will play three games in the round robin stage, except for the highest-ranked team (UTSA) which will play four games. Games were selected such that teams who attended the same qualifier will not play each other during the round robin stage. Based on the results, the top four teams will enter the D2 bracket, and the bottom three teams will enter the consolation stage.
